Tollivar Foundations
Expert AI governance resources for organisations at every stage.
AI Governance Readiness Programme
Get your AI governance in order. Expert-led. Built for your stage.
Whether you are building AI or deploying it, the accountability questions are the same — and they are arriving faster than most organisations realise. Regulators are watching. Investors are asking. Courts are ruling.
The Tollivar AI Governance Readiness Programme is open to UK SMEs, AI developers, and deployers. You receive a personalised, written AI Governance Readiness Report — expert-led, legally grounded, and yours to use with your board, investors, clients, or regulator.
What you get
An AI Governance Readiness Report produced by Dr Yoriko Otomo PhD, AIGP (Principal at Tollivar, Expert-in-Residence at the Alan Turing Institute). A substantive, actionable document you can use for your team, board, investors, and regulator.
Following a half-hour, 1:1 online meeting, you will receive a report that typically includes:
- ●An assessment of your AI use against current UK and EU governance expectations, including, where relevant, the EU AI Act
- ●Your highest-priority governance gaps, explained in plain terms
- ●Specific, proportionate recommendations for your next steps
- ●Flagging of anything that warrants board attention or specialist legal advice
- ●Signposting to relevant frameworks and further support
How it works
Who is this for?
The programme is open to UK-based organisations that meet all of the following:
- ●You are an AI developer (building AI products or systems), an AI deployer (using AI in your operations or services), or both
- ●You have between 1 and 250 employees
- ●You are actively working with AI now, or have a concrete plan to do so within the next twelve months
- ●You can commit one person — a founder, CTO, Head of Product, or senior legal, technical or operations lead — to a thirty minute video call
You do not need an existing governance framework in place. The absence of one is precisely why this programme exists. Similarly, we welcome organisations that have a mature governance structure in place and are interested in testing this or being highlighted as a best practice case study for their sector. All sectors welcome; applications from regulated sectors including education, financial services, legal, health, and the public sector are particularly encouraged.
